Vision

“To be a leading division in fostering global collaboration and enhancing international academic mobility within the Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University (MDCU), supporting the development of globally competent medical professionals and advancing international academic partnerships.”

Missions

• Facilitate the participation of foreign students and graduates in MDCU’s medical elective programs and support MDCU students, faculty, and executives in international academic experiences.
• Collaborate with international universities and institutions for research, knowledge exchange, and academic partnerships.
• Create an ecosystem that supports internationalization within MDCU by providing regular updates on scholarships, grants, and global opportunities.
• Coordinate visits and meetings for international guests to foster relationship-building and strategic discussions with MDCU executives.

Strategies

• Develop streamlined processes and resources for medical student and faculty exchanges, including pre-departure orientations and alumni ambassador networks.
• Actively pursue MOUs and academic agreements with leading international medical institutions, focusing on complementary strengths and research priorities.
• Regularly update MDCU stakeholders on scholarships, grants, and research funding from international sources through newsletters, webinars, and a dedicated online portal.
• Host cultural competence and internationalization workshops to prepare students and staff for global engagement.
• Establish a structured guest experience program that includes guided tours, specialized meetings, and collaborative event planning to build long-term relationships.
