International Cooking Club at MDCU’s International Village: A Taste of Thai! 🇹🇭

Yesterday afternoon, MDCU’s International Village hosted a vibrant Thai cooking session, bringing together food lovers from Newcastle, England, Italy, the USA, Germany, Ireland, and Bangkok for a hands-on culinary experience.
The featured dish? ขนมปังหน้าหมู (Kha-nom Pang Na Mhoo)—a crispy, savory Thai-style pork on toast that’s both simple to make and full of authentic flavors. Under expert guidance, participants learned to prepare the dish from scratch, perfecting the pork mixture, seasoning, and deep-frying techniques to achieve golden, crispy perfection.
Beyond cooking, the event fostered connections, cultural exchange, and plenty of laughter as everyone shared their experiences and enjoyed their homemade creations together.
