Kindness, Learning, and New Experiences in Bangkok
For me, it was a very intense experience, my first time abroad. I’m not good at speaking English, and I often struggled to communicate, but everyone was very kind to me. Although it was only a short two weeks, I was able to observe surgeries and consultations in the orthopedic department. In Thai hospitals, English and Thai are spoken all the time. In Japan, only Japanese is spoken, so I was very surprised. Even after returning to Japan, I want to continue studying and use this experience to become a good doctor. Thank you very much to the orthopedic surgeons, Mr. Watcharapol, and everyone in Thailand for your great cooperation.
